She was a wild, wicked slip of a girl. She burned too bright for this world.
STORY
The ring is inspired by Catherine Earnshaw, the female protagonist in Emily Brontë's famous Gothic novel, Wuthering Heights. Cathy is often viewed as the epitome of the free spirit. She is given to fits of temper, and she is torn between her wild passion for Heathcliff and her social ambition. As children, Cathy and Heathcliff seem to represent the spirit of Freedom as they are rebelling against the tyrannical authority and religious bigotry.
Their love exists on a higher or spiritual plane; they are soul mates, two people who have an affinity for each other which draws them together irresistibly.
